La Fraschetta was founded in 1976 by the passion for good food by Ciro, Vittorio, Ezio and Ugo.
Coming from Meo Patacca and Ciceriuacchio (two historic rooms in the neighborhood), the four manage to transform this place in the heart of Trastevere into a point of reference for the Romans and tourists, where the quality of the raw materials, cooked according to tradition, is blend with courtesy and professionalism. In 2015 the management of the restaurant passed to the Di Costanzo family, that is to Marco, Massimiliano, Matteo and Martina, always together with the legendary Piero, the cornerstone and soul of the restaurant.
