The best cooking is the traditional one.

A JUMP INTO THE PAST.

Among red checkered tablecloths and copper pots, at La Fraschetta you will have the impression of being catapulted into the Sunday kitchens of a time where craftsmanship is the master and it is impossible to leave the plate full.

If you are reading these words you are probably looking for a place to eat during your visit in one of the most colorful and evocative neighborhoods of the Capital, the right restaurant where you can taste typical dishes as much as the neighborhood where you are.

How many times have you happened to visit a tourist destination and go to eat in a place that pretends to be "traditional" and then find yourself faced with a bitter surprise?

Too often, right?

From La Fraschetta each guest receives the same treatment as a true (and voracious) Roman: tasty dishes, generous portions and low prices.

OUR HISTORY.

La Fraschetta was founded in 1976 by the passion for good food by Ciro, Vittorio, Ezio and Ugo.

Coming from Meo Patacca and Ciceriuacchio (two historic rooms in the neighborhood), the four manage to transform this place in the heart of Trastevere into a point of reference for the Romans and tourists, where the quality of the raw materials, cooked according to tradition, is blend with courtesy and professionalism. In 2015 the management of the restaurant passed to the Di Costanzo family, that is to Marco, Massimiliano, Matteo and Martina, always together with the legendary Piero, the cornerstone and soul of the restaurant.

Your trip to Rome will be a pleasure not only for the eyes but also for the palate.

If you want to fully enjoy the Trastevere experience without having "surprises", the right restaurant is in Via San Francesco a Ripa 134.
